Instructions

Step 1:
Lay out the bread slices. Lightly butter one side of each slice these will be the outsides of the sandwich.
Step 2:
On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer the burrata, tomato slices, and basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3:
Top each with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
Step 4:
Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Step 5:
Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 34 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and crisp and the cheese is melty.
Step 6:
Remove from the pan, let cool for 1 minute, then slice and serve immediately.
