Cooking Guide

What type of cheese works best for these tarts?

Brie is ideal for its creamy texture, but similar soft cheeses like Camembert or goat cheese can be used for varied flavors.

Can I prepare these tarts in advance?

Yes, you can assemble them beforehand and refrigerate, then bake shortly before serving to keep pastry crisp.

How can I achieve a crispier puff pastry?

Ensure the puff pastry is well-chilled before baking and avoid overloading the cups with filling to maintain flakiness.

Are there suggested nut alternatives for garnish?

Chopped pistachios or walnuts add crunch, but toasted pecans or almonds also complement the flavors nicely.
