# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together in under ten minutes, which means you can make it without heating up the kitchen on brutal summer days.
  • The combination of tart lime, sweet strawberries, and creamy ice cream feels indulgent but actually light and refreshing.
  • One recipe easily becomes two drinks, making it perfect for impromptu entertaining or sharing with someone special.
02 -
  • If you add the sparkling water too quickly, you'll lose all that beautiful foam and the drink becomes less visually exciting and somehow less fun to drink.
  • Frozen glasses make an enormous difference in keeping everything cold and preventing the ice cream from melting before you finish sipping.
03 -
  • Use the coldest sparkling water from the back of your fridge and pour it slowly enough that you can watch the foam form in real time.
  • If you're making these alcohol-free, add a tiny splash of vanilla extract to the strawberry blend for extra depth and richness that the rum would've provided.
