# Method:
01 - Season the chicken breasts or thighs with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
02 - Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until lightly golden but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
03 - Add diced onion, red bell pepper, and jalapeño to the pot and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
04 - Incorporate diced green chilies along with ground cumin, dried oregano, chili powder, smoked paprika, and ground coriander. Stir well to evenly coat the vegetables.
05 - Add the drained white beans and pour in the low-sodium chicken broth. Return the seared chicken to the pot.
06 - Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and flavors have melded.
07 - Remove the chicken from the pot, shred with two forks, and return the shredded chicken to the chili mixture.
08 - Stir in the cream cheese until fully melted, then add the heavy cream. Simmer for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
09 - Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped cilantro, green onions, shredded cheese, and lime wedges as desired. Serve hot.
